Someone's just dumped 6 seasons worth of this on the alt.binaries.multimedia newsgroup, but I had no idea what it was.. Figured I might as well check it out.
It's very much a new-age Columbo type show, but with a new-age "quirky" main character.
(And, not quite up there with Columbo, but probably the closest I've seen in a long while.)
Imagine Columbo with OCD and that's pretty much what this is.
Not a bad show.
I'll carry on grabbing the rest!
And apparently they've just finished season 8, their last, so god only knows why I've never heard of it before!!

I was actually about to order the Season 1-6 box set, this morning.. It's only £30 at Play.com, but..
.. You just know, the second I order it, the 1-8 box set will bloody well turn up!
I'm sick of that happening.
I'll wait..
Which reminds me, I've still not picked up Seasons 4+5 of Stargate Atlantis, mostly because the damn 5 season boxset's out, and costs less than 4+5 on their own.. FFS!!!!
|edit| Plus, let's be honest, I'd much rather double click an icon and watch the thing, than find the DVD, put the DVD in the tray, wait for the DVD player to load, watch the "Don't Pirate" stuff, watch the unskippable adverts, watch the "amazing!!" menu system swirl around for 20 minutes, click the episode, click the start of the episode, watch the channel credits... finish eating, and close the dvd program. |edit|

Additionally, I'm about 1/2 way through season 1, and there are SO many people from Corner Gas in this! Guess it must've been filmed in Canada somewhere.
