New characters sprites and book

A couple of days ago I joined a spriteart discord channel. There was a ebook linked in the introductions. I had looked for drawing books like that and this is actually the first that I come across that is modern.

The book is from michafrar. 242 pages. I just downloaded it after receiving the code.

The sprites here I drawn again in aseprite using a 32 color palette in the 16x16 resolution. Outline left, then first coloring and aliasing. Then full colored version.

I had been staring at a couple of sonic and mario sprites(modern versions) to see If I could lean anything from the way they are drawn. Stil a way to go.
