I'm doing a piece on the power of Google.

A year or so ago, someone here posted a link to an experimental tool that cross-referenced information online, including from google searches, to build a profile on a person etc.

For the life of me I can't remember what it was called, nor find the link anywhere here. So please could I use the "community search feature" -- does anyone know what I am talking about?

Sounds like something PowerMousey would post about. He's banned now, but you could always search his profile for posted threads etc.

If that'd been posted I would've used it on myself!
Are you sure it was posted here?

In slightly related news..

90% sure, yes.

It was experimental/alpha, with a really stupid name.
It had several panes for name, address, number etc.
You could type some info in one and it would find related details, which you could then click on to narrow down the search.
It made like a mindmap of which websites you were mentioned on, i think.
I remember looking flying_cucco up on it, and getting my name, age, which city I live in - but not address - and my old telephone number.

BTW I don't think anyone is planning on knifing YOU, James.

Hmm. I remember something in relation to tubes, pipes, tunnels or something. I believe it was made by google. I dunno if they still have it, as I didn't understand how to use it.
