Free music for gamedev?
I'm particularily interested in chiptunes and/or anything that sounds sufficiently retro.
I know Jay used to have a link for a site that offered lots of *.mod music... Jay?!

If you have something, now's the time to get it out in the open!

Aminet, the one I usually mention, does indeed have a whole big bunch of Mod stuff, and although it used to be a "Public Domain" library, folk seem to be just using it as a dumping ground for "amiga-ish" stuff nowadays. So, you probably can't trust the "pick and use" ability of it's library as much, anymore.
Shame.

ModArchive has lots, but again you can't just grab 'em, you have to ask.

The main issue with these is that they've built up over about 20-25 years, now! Tracking down some authors is a pain in the ass!!

|edit| Renamed topic, I hopped in expecting some free music, and I'm sure others would, too!! |edit|
