Jayenkai
I can't honestly believe this is a DECADE ago!!
It's scary to think that, ten years ago, I was making piddly little games that are, in many ways, exactly the sodding same as my current piddly little games!!

Green's Tiny 8bit Collection

The date of the final release is the 6th of May, 2003. That makes this release 10 years old, today.
TEN!?
Yikes!!

Time sure as hell flies, doesn't it!?

Back then, we were all hanging around on BlitzCoder, having fun, and enjoying the coding.
That was before all that Idigidragon shit happened.

Facts about Green's Tiny 8bit Collection

    Games : 22

    Menu 1
1 JNKTiny Football - Weeee With AI Footballers!
    2 JNKTiny Centipede - Yippie
3 JNKTiny Plat - Became remake of Fantasy Center from CPC Cascade 50 cassette
4 JNKTiny Maze - One level, but hey, it's a workin'!
5 JNKTiny Breakout - Working better than expected.... So much so, I've started on the Fuller version
6 JNKTiny Tron - Works.. With CPU AI's of varying difficulty

    Menu 2
1 JNKTiny Bouncer - Bouncy Bouncy.. Collision detection's gone to pot, but the idea works!!
2 JNKTiny Frogger - Yeay! It's Frogger, but a bit harder!
3 JNKTiny Matrix Blaster - Mmmm... Nice!!
4 JNKTiny Monkey Ball - Yeay! 4 levels of impossible Marble Madness!!
    5 JNKTiny Slalom
6 JNKTiny Tanks - Works.. But the CPU AI's can't figure out how to shoot "Over" the hills!!

    Menu 3
1 JNKTiny Oh Mummy - Took a while before I could be arsed adding AI.. (God, I'm lazy sometimes ) Was hidden in releases 1-3, without AI.. Eventually added To release 4.
2 JNKTiny Invaders - 2 ships, 2 missiles, 1 Upper Body... Shitloads of baddies
3 JNKTiny Bejeweled - Oddly enough, it was slightly more taxing making the game check Rows/Columns, then Anywhere-connected blocks...
4 JNKTiny Dropper - What you get when you cross Simon and Beat Mania..
5 JNKTiny Mr Driller - Might be a bit too simillar to Bejeweled, but... Fuck it!
6 JNKTiny Squares - For those who fondly remember Mr Green's Computing lessons.. (We used to sit and play squares, ignoring him completely! Yup.. That's Greenie... That's my Logo, My Mascot, My Big Main Thing... My bloody old Computing teacher, who was obsessed with Binary and Punched Cards!! Go figure!)

    Menu 4
1 JNKTiny Sumo Wrestling! - Push buttons as they flash up onscreen.
2 JNKTiny Shoot It - Shoot your opponent. First to 10 wins.
3 JNKTiny Spell 'em - Hunt for words in a falling grid of letters, not at all a clone of Two Way TV's String-em-in.
    4 JNKTiny Make It Blue

Unfinished Games left inside the sourcecode : 2

JNKTiny Puzzler - Eugh.. What's the point...
JNKTiny Bomberman - Works, but a bit shitty, and has no CPU AI (Note the running theme here!!) (Hint : I'm shit at AI!)

    Happy Little Easter Egg

On the titlescreen hit the Amstrad's reset keys.. Ctrl+Shift+"That key to the left of the 1" (I'd've made it Ctrl+Shift+Escape, but Windows uses that to open Task Manager! Someone at MS must've been a CPC fan!)

Resetting the machine will take you to the Basic CPC Frontend, where you can code a piddly little text thing. I never got around to adding much to the little engine, so it's limited to just Print, Locate, CLS, Run, GOTO, and simple list, load, save commands. Nothing magical, and pretty shit, but it's from a decade ago, so no whinging!!
