Google's going mental with open stuff today!

First, they opened up Wave for none-invites. Although, probably nobody cares about that, still! Linkage

Next up, WebM opensource web video compression/playback. Already picked up by MS and Mozilla! Blimey! Linkage

and then there's Open Webfonts. A nice big free-Webfont directory with a nice Webfont API that will hopefully, finally, do what it looks like it'll do! Woot! Linkage

Yay now I can wave my friends... I was waiting for that to happen, it always took them days for them to get invites.

Wave was actually really helpful in collaborating for my school project.

And face recognition would have been cool...
