Yesterday I played 'Plants vs Zombies' and made it all the way to the roof before calling it quits.

My question about that game is with regard to its style displayed onscreen.

Is 'Zombies vs Plants' considered a Side Scroller?

No. It's classed as Tower Defense.

PvZ is one of my fave games (not played any other TD games, so can't say genres). I've completed it multiple times on XBox360, pc and iPod Touch. Yet I still keep going back to it.
