It's only a matter of weeks, now, until Apple unveils their new set of phone and iPods and whatever else they've come up with in the past 12 months.
What worries me isn't the need to buy new devices.
I'm quite comfortable where I am, and unless the new devices give us some stupid mind-bendingly baffling new screen resolution, I see no need to upgrade.
..well, unless there's a nice cheap iPhone.. Then I might be tempted!
What worries me, though, is that come next month, it'll be time to finally upgrade my iPad to iOS7...
And that means switching to that horrible "EVERYTHING IS WHITE!!" theme with it's crappy skinny font and it's overwhelming urge to blur everything into a bizarre cloud like state.
I get their need to change, and I understand their decision to move away from skeuomorphics, with it's odd none-uniform styles, and it's silly need for high-definition artwork for even the simplest of tasks.
...but..
I'm going to miss Notes..
I love the nice yellow background, the lovely (not-comic-sans) handwriting font, and the wonderful feel of the folder-styled leather bound background. Of all the skeuomorphics, I think Notes got it right.
But Apple don't care for that style anymore, and now it's a bland, lifeless, dull white screen.

Nintendo have decided to overthrow their own VirtualBoy by designing their own "My First 3DS" console which is so amazingly clunky that I'm not entirely sure how a young child's hands are even supposed to fit around it. It's like the world's most dumbest idea, ever!
