Used WinAPE to save-out the audio for Mutant Monty, cut-out the sounds into their own files, but when I play back the cropped sound files it has a very unprofession crack or pop at the beginning and end of each sound. I would make new music and sound in LMMS or Audacity but I don't have a clue how and wanted to keep the game as close to the Amstrad version as possible anyway.

False alarm!, I solved it. It was starting at high amplitude and just needed normalising.
