Kuron	Hmm... No attraction to this for me other than the concept. Not really aware of any of the actors/actresses other than Rowan. Is this something that really needs a prequel or remake or sequel? The original was flawless. Johnny Depp managed to pull off a good take on it and do it justice, and not shit all over the original. Gene Wilder was simply brilliant in the original. I could have lived without Depp's version, but it did not detract from the original for me. Some stuff just shouldn't be messed with, IMHO. This is one of them.

Kuron	Also do we really want a detailed origin of Willy Wonka? Sometimes leaving things up to somebody's imagination can be so much better. Thinking of the old series I liked The Lost World. The series ended with an unresolved cliffhanger. I think that is better than any other ending could have been.

Kuron	I still haven't seen that one. Johnny Depp and Deep Roy were awesome in the movie. It was very respectful to the original. If you liked the original, you will like Depp's version. Although had Deep Roy not been in it, I do not think it would have been as good. Deep & Deep made a good team. It was a remake we didn't need, but at least it was one that did not detract from the original and was very enjoyable and very rewatchable.

Kuron	Not sure if/when this will be released given the strikes, but I am hoping they rerelease the Wonka Bars like they did after the Johnny Depp version. Hands down my fave candy bar of all time. I managed to catch them when they were clearanced out at Walmart and bought all the cases they had left. Lasted me for a few months.
