 		Just got this news from my Dad: I saw my treatment doctor Thursday. His news was not great. It’s spread through out my bones including scull and spine. Stage 4, they can slow it down but not stop it at this time. Four and one half to five years average, if lucky, longer.

 		Cancer sucks so much, I lost my Dad to it a few years ago.

So sorry to hear this, cry as much as you like and see your Dad as much as possible (I wasn't able to see mine).

 		Sadly, I am 2,700 miles away from my Dad. He lives on the other side of the country and I am not in a position to really afford to travel, nor is he.

His PSA levels have been below 2 every year, except this year they were 28. It has spread from the prostate into the bones. Fairly recent picture of my Dad:

 		Edited the title as it now included my Mum. I had posted the below a week or so back:

Mum's heart is going really crazy right now and has been told to go to the ER if it doesn't get better. She has some pretty serious heart issues and being 3,000 miles away, not anything I can do, of course brother is 10 minutes away and won't do shit.

Now with Mum, it is worse and they have changed her meds, but it is not helping her afib. She sees a new doc in December and he is likely going to want to do heart surgery, an ablation. I am just hoping she can make it to then.

Already lost my Dad who raised me, will be losing my biological father when the cancer finally wins and now it looks like my Mum who is 74 is living on borrowed time.

Really fucking sucks to be Ole' Kuron right now.
