Finally gave in and installed Windows on the desktop last night, a night or two of setting everything back up and I should be back in my ’’coding @ home’’ again

Linux is nice but...

No Photoshop, No Flash, No Preferrable Text Editor...

It's great for general use, but I'm so used to my current tool chain, I jumped back over.

Yeah, it's hard to get away from your favourite tools. It's even more difficult to get away from your "not quite favourite, but infrequently used" tools, because those are the real ones that you find yourself struggling to replace.
Even 3.5 years into being a Primarily MacOS user, i'm still finding Windows handy for "the little things"

I just wish Windows wasn't so.. .. What's the word.. "Microsoft"?

I've really wanted to love Linux, but I've always struggled with it and I have no patience to tinker anymore. I've got a lovely Intel mac book from 2010 which let me run osx and Windows at the same time thanks to great VM support. Used that for a long time. It would drive me crazy to do everything the Apple way. How are you doing the Windows stuff now?
