Wasnt there a thing Jay made a few years back to texture map a polygon in blitz? I need to un-skew an image and I can't find any software to do it.

Nope. I've tried quad-based rendering a bunch of times, but haven't ever found a quick way to get it working in a fast enough manner to use it ingame, so tend to give up before I tie myself up in knots!

Ask the GPTs for "Quad-based" texture mapping. That's the thing where you move the 4 points and the polygon+texture should warp to fit.

it was literally just some blitz code to take an image and warp it by giving coordinates for the corners.

As far as "tools" goes, the only one I've found of late is Pixelmator Pro which has a "Transform" button that does it. That's a MacOS app, though. If you want me to try to fix it, you can send the image over and I'll give it my best shot.

.. Or you could maybe emulate DPaint on an Amiga, and use Perspective mode.
.. Or emulate Advanced Art Studio on an Amstrad CPC, and use Warp mode.

.. .. Honestly, why does nothing modern have it!?

Simply just want to straighten this up, thinking about designing a skin for my evercade, don't have a scanner anymore so a photo was the best I could do.

It's almost straight already.

I tried my best. It ended up rather ratty as a result though.. :/
A nice "select, shrink, expand" might help fix that, though.

Might be easier if you import that into a vector tool and draw over it.. .. .. Maybe!!!

As for tools, again..
Gimp. Of course Gimp..
v3.0.2 is the latest version I just installed.
Select your area, then Tools/Transform Tools/Perspective.
You then get the box with the corners that should hopefully do the trick.

CoPilot has also suggested Krita, which I hadn't previously heard of, and am currently looking into.

That is perfect!

Thanks

Now back to the megadrive tile problem!

For Krita, Transform tool (highlighted on the left), then right click and choose Perspective.
