This could get slightly chaotic..
One of GBATemp's moderators asked me a while back if a RetroRaider might be doable as DSHomebrew.
I started doodling some backdrops on that day, but then... as I usually do.. I forgot all about it.

Today, I decided to give it a whirl, so I grabbed my 32x12 pixel backgrounds, and started to build an engine in Monkey.
I'll, later, be attempting to scale everything down to DS, which is where things might get a little bit... crazy!!
.. but so far, nothing nasty. The 32x12 backgrounds are being scaled up nicely, using a simple BGLayer tilemap/image combination, which I've specifically designed so I can easily import them into my DS Code.
...

I've been up 4 hours, already and it's only just turned 10. WTF!?
