Decisions decisions.. Do I stick with my £15 WiiU Fit Meter, which straps to my waist, or do I shell out over £300 for something that also requires me to buy an iPhone to go with it... Hmmm.... Lemmie think about that...

Topic 404! I half expected there to be a holding page here instead of comments

As for the iWatch thing... cost more than my current phone, probably cost more than the minimum required phone, only works with newer iphones, no android, no windows and if that Android watch is anything to go by, the battery will last maybe 12 hours if your lucky.

Not for me.

I gave up wearing a watch when I bought my first smartphone, primarily because the phone had a clock on it..
Now all these damn companies want me to spend LUDICROUS amounts on that very same device, just so that I can instantly get my Twitter Notifications onto my wrist.
..
Sorry, guys. I'm not joining in.

All, this whole fitness angle seems, quite frankly, fucking useless.
They expect you to use it to track steps and movement, but FFS, you NEED to have your phone, because the AppleWatch doesn't do GPS..
...
But the iPhone already does all the health stuff, on it's own, anyway, and you've already got it with you, so what's the point of the sodding watch?
...

?!

I dunno, seems like a serious waste of cash, to me.
Nip to your local jewellers, buy the nicest watch you can find, and take good care of it.
Job done.

Sounds like a fairly superfluous device. I did see an android variant yesterday which used the pause hud from Goldeneye on the N64 to display battery on one side and step count on the other which looked pretty cool.

No watch laser though. Sooo, nahhhh, not interested enough!

Also, just saw the price of the apple Smartwatch, I'd rather spend my money on something else, Maybe buy a Lappy 486

I have to go "Bare below the elbow" because of my job, so I can't wear jewellery or watches (or even long sleeves). As a result I don't wear any of those things ever - not even at home. So Smart-Watches are of no interest to me - even if they were free.
