Like the title implies this message is for Shroom Monk mainly because I know he works on a Code::Blocks compiler and uses SFML regularly. I'm trying do SFML too but ran into a problem. I went to the SFML website, downloaded both the Gpp 4.4 MinGW file, and the SFML 1.6 SDK and included them in the Code::Blocks files. I'm pretty sure I Included them in the right file, but the compiler still gives me an error message

From what I see it looks like the compiler accepts that #include <SFML/System.hpp> exists but won't run any of it's functions. I'm wondering if you ran into a similar problem your first time using SFML, and if you know how to fix it.

First check: did you follow all the instructions here? I guess you'll have looked at that page, but it's easy to miss the bit about the differences between compiling with static or dynamic libraries, for instance, so give it a very thorough read through. It's likely to be you've made a small mistake in there somewhere, since I see no glaring issues with the code you've posted (in before I've missed something obvious which someone else will point out ).
