August Fixings

I'm taking a break from the usual AGameAWeek chaos, this month, and am fixing up all the broken things that I never seem to have the time to fix.
First up was the Emoji button, and the required number of artsy attempts to fill it up. But other fixings are also planned.
If there's anything you'd like to see me fix, please do feel free to suggest it, here.
Anything goes.

Today I fixed up my Jukebox script.
It can now handle the different albums better than before, and there's even a shuffle button to play a chaotic mix of my eclectic choons..
You can See the results, here.

For the past couple of days, I've been reworking little bits of the Foldapuz site.
I've added standard button-style GUI buttons to both the main site and the unfolded site.

Unfolded's drawing is a bit more precise, and I've FINALLY fixed the pinch zoom so it's a little more respectable.

The main site now has a more obvious (IMO) layout, but I'm still not happy with the "Click there, then click here" approach to moving the games onto the page.
I'm currently considering making elements drag'n'drop'able, but .. goodness me, I've never attempted that in plain javascript (eg, none-canvas) before.

Had to add a new entry to my Browsercade/Shoebox credits, today.

Ever since iOS14 beta appeared, the audio's been broken. Naturally assuming it was their fault, I sent them a link via the Beta Feedback form, and eventually sent a test thing that replicated the bug in a tiny form

Tonight they got back to me, and basically told me it was my own stupid fault.
The .wav file was corrupt.
The javascript was behaving "correctly", whereas every other browser on the planet was being more lenient.

Apple The right course of action is to prevent the proliferation of non-conformant WAV assets rather than making our parsers lenient to such cases and potentially weakening the overall security of the audio stack.

They're right, of course. If the wav is broken, I oughta fix the wav.
So, I fixed it, reuploaded, and now all is good.

Thank you, unnamed Apple employee, who fixed my game!

Spent the majority of the past week redoing Kakuro generation, over and over again!!
Still not perfect, but it's getting much better.
.. I think!!

Meanwhile, I've started an overhaul of the Browsercade main menu.. but have barely started that.

The emoji's haven't been touched in days..

.. and I've played a lot of No Man's Sky.

Oops!!!

Finally finished doing that new menu for Browsercade..
A week and a half, and the result looks more or less the same as the original, but BOY was that a lot of work.
Did a whole lot of stripping out, rewriting, and more, to essentially get it all back up to pretty much the same state it was already in!!

But it's much easier to manage, now, and there's the whole "rooms/folder" thing to help categorise the different game.
Gud gud!!

You can see the results here.

Now, about that broken Kakuro...
