Our nearest Aldi is a bus-ride away, so anything "cheap" from Aldi comes with an extra £5 on top.

If we bought a ton of shopping, that'd be a negligible amount, but since it's Mum having to lug home bags of fairly light shopping, it's not really all that good of a percentage.
Shame they don't do delivery, really. Then even if the delivery charge is higher than that, you're going to get a full-shop, instead of just a couple of carrier bags.

Bah, humbug!

I do much prefer their fresh fruit+veg, though. Our local supermarket is Tesco, and .. You can very easily google how bad Tesco's fruit+veg is..!
