A fast-paced arcade game where you become the conductor of a fabulous fireworks display! Just be sure to detonate the rockets at the right time, and keep the crowd happy.

Latest Update

February 14th, 2007
It's been so long, I forgot what's all new in this version of the game. All well, play and see. It'll be a surprise.

It's been a while since an update. I've been busy with other things and I'm unhappy to report that not much has changed in this version. Game-play is working this time but not in completion. Very basic and probably boring. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't check it out. I've got a ton of ideas that will make this experience so much better, and I can always use more. Ideas are always appreciated.

P.S. Check the credits.

The "Det3 Menu Test(Current)" file has been replaced by the new current demo (put out 12/27/06) and the "Det3 Menu Test(OLD)" one has been replaced by the old "current" one. Does that make sense to anyone? Doesn't matter. A new demo is out; top link. Nothing much is different, except you can click "Start Game", then "Play!" and see a small test (if you could even call it that.)

Thanks a lot P.M. I'll get some game play going as quick as my little fingers can type.

hmmm.... you say "Written in C++ using the HGE game engine." but in the DET123006/Material/Images folder i see a file named "detonate.bb"...

hey,

maybe the game engine can use other languages too. maybe blanko wrote some code or used an include file of some kind with Blitz Basic.

Big deal! Most of it was written in C++ using the HGE game engine.

Oh yeah, the game was started in BB, a long time ago. Did you also happen to notice the:

-main.cpp
-rocket.h/rocket.cpp
-particle.h/rocket.cpp
-button.h/button.cpp

So hah.
