true bro.

If you are still left behind on this earth...
and I hope not and don't want you too. serious!!

You will I think, by situation, be part of the resistance
movement against the AntiChrist and his New World
Order. Call it the Global Peace Alliance, for a more
deceptive name.

Remember, if you are still here and left behind...though you don't have to be and can go home in the Rapture....help
to form those clusters.
Don't take the mark. Neither on your hand nor on the head.
Tell and warn others about the Beast and his system.
Most importantly tell and share others about Christ.
Lead, and with the Gospel and be part of the Net Resistance.
Some resources are raidersnewsupdate.com,
tribulationforces.com, and hallindseyoracle.com

This is for you, and then for others here.

Its going to happen. Hopefully, not now.
But events are accelerating.

You and others can laugh, sneer, joke, ridicule.
It will happen.

one bit of it:

When I first noticed this post, A little warning siren went off in my head.
"That's sounds terribly like religeous spiel to me"

Over at CodersWorkshop we had a Keep religeon out of it policy, and I'd like to keep to that stance here.
I know I do Christmas workshops, and occasionally bother to do Easter stuff, but that's more because I'm a citizen of the UK and I love the whole festive feeling. It isn't because I'm christian. (For the record, I was brought up Mormon, but we're not exactly religeous people in our house.)

I don't want to get into religeous arguments, so I think it's best to keep everything down to a minimum. Only mention religeous stuff if it's brought up naturally, and not squeeze it into a blog about WebSense.

I also suggest that if you really want to get into the whole Christian/Coders discussion thing, that there's already a site ready to deal with that.

i agree with this completely, we shouldnt talk about religion on here, it might offend some, and some it might not, and becasue of that it could start arguments. not saying anyones right or wrong, just saying we shouldnt start any problems.

I'd love to hop on PM's train-of-thought and see just how it got from Websense and FTP to the return of Christ. So random.

I didn't really find it all to controversial or offensive, seeing as how PM didn't really 'push' anything onto us, and also because it was just another one of those good ol' random rants he throws at us from time to time.

But we should definitely stop the heavy religious talk before it gets any thicker than this.

Hey I was Mormon too. We technically still am, but 'inactive'. It was always something my family we into, and I was dragged along.

Personally I dont see a problem... After all, the Reverend Mousey is merely just spredding the knowledge of Christianity. That's one thing I dont get with this country, If an Englishman wants to preach his beliefs about Christ the Lord he gets roasted, but if a Muslim stands and shouts "Become a Muslim or burn in Hell", we are all ordered by governing bodies to keep our mouths shut or face racism charges.

I'm not taking sides here because I get along with nearly all walks of life, but I feel that if one religion is allowed to voice their oppinion, the other should be allowed too. I also state, it should be put in a way that doesn't offend either side.

I hope this post does not upset anyone, as it is not intended to.

I don't think any of that stuff was serious, but yeah lets not get into religion.

I 100% agree with Power Mousey, but I try not to make this forum full of religous posts. This site is for programming, not religion.

hello Jay,

We could've talked about this and the issue
involved one on one and in private. You could of
sent me a PM about it. I would've understood
and talked with you about it.
I don't know why you didn't>

But since its all out in the open...which is
now cool by me. I stand by what I say, think
and believe. No apologies either.
Yet, since this is your forum and managed by
you and we are all guests...I will respect your
advice and wish.

Nevertheless, I have shared with you all
about certain coming events. Check it out,
think, and decide for all yourselves.

Thank you,

Kent

No, I wanted to bring it up, in the open, because I wanted the members of the forum to decide whether or not it was in any way a problem.

It's also the reason why I haven't actually deleted the post.

I don't want to dump my beliefs on anyone, any more than I want to specify whether or not such posts should be allowed or not. As much as this site is a creation of mine, I don't consider it to be "My" site. I think it's a site for it's members, and as such, the decision to allow/remove should be a joint one.

I don't think its dumping.
Yet, anyway, I hope you all make
the right decision in this life.
I shake the dirt from my sandals/shoes and
move on from this. Yet, I have told you all.

good night,

Why not, 'no getting into excessivly serious and un-provable debates' instead of no religion.

I have no problem with Mousey's comments, and their a long way from a zealous argument. I know your bringing this up purely to stop that happening. Nip it in the bud at the first glance of the subject appearing. But I think it would be better to address the situation when their is a situation.

I'll be honest. If it were in a topic about religeon, I'd probably have no problem.
It's more that he dumped it into a comment directly below Hobo's blog about Websense.
It really wasn't a relevant post, and I saw no need for it, whatsoever, other than for the sake of being "a bit preachy"

Bah, I hate that what I just wrote sounds really offensive.. It's just that that's what I thought when I saw it..

I'm an avowed Christian, yet I think we must remember that this is a programming forum. In my opinion, the occasional religious discussion is fine, but people are always bound to become offended.

Bottom line: Keep it to yourself when it won't be needed or appreciated.

@ Agent Smith...
Well, I'm an avowed atheist, so to put it bluntly I regard anyone who believes in supernatural deities to be a deluded fool.

You should take that back and ask God to forgive you for that, and the Mousey is not a fool.

Nolan,

wise words. There is a time to speak, a time to listen,
and a time to be silent. In season and out of season,
there is a reason. Thank You.

Blitz3dman,

it wasn't random, my friend.

But even more important:

I'd rather be a fool in the worlds' eyes
rather than a fool in Gods' eyes. True.

Steve,

thank you very dearly.

Hopefully, people will wake up
before its too late....

For the most part, I'm going to sit on the fence here, but I will say this: By the sounds of things, this topic is turning into a religious argument, which is precisely what this topic was designed to avoid (I think).

Hey, it's all interesting discussion.

I'm a non-devout atheist. I generally let other people do the believing for me, but I join in once in a while

And I'm too lazy to argue about anything

Hey, Shroom - any room on that fence for a Hobo?

If you two are going to sit on the fence, just make sure that it is not made of barbed wire .
