Rewatching ''1 Litre of Tears''

I last watched the Japanese Drama Serial 1 Litre of Tears around about 2009/10.
A story of a young girl hit with a degenerative disease that destroys the link between her Spinal Cord and her Cerebellium.

Back then, it was simply a show that made me more than a little weepy
I watched, enjoyed, then filed it away on the NAS for a future rewatch.

When my own hospital drama kicked off, and there was talk of the tumour being between my spinal cord and cerebellum, you can naturally assume the panic and fear that went through my mind.

Tonight, I decided a rewatch was in order, and .. post-hospital, the show is hitting me on a much more personal level.
I've just about managed to get through episode one with a few sniffles, and I know it's only going to get worse.
..
I'll keep watching, though.

*grabs a box of tissues, and starts episode two.*

I put the final two episodes off for a couple of nights, but tonight I finally watched them.
And sobbed a fair bit.

That's over, now.
