A little extra Plat..

Closure

I originally wrote the theme Closure, thinking it'd make a great end-theme for the new JNKPlat, hence it's title.
But then I realised I'd probably never make any use of an end theme, since JNKPlat never really ends... It just keeps getting more levels and features added on until it eventually becomes time for a rewrite.

So, instead, I rejigged it in a classic retro Mod style, and that's what you get in the game.

But, for those who give a munky, here's what the original Fruitylooped edition sounded like.

... Wonder what happens if I google it.. Surely it's not been out that long, it can't be popping up everywhere yet.

Oooh!

IndyGamer blog.
With a screenshot of the worst sodding level in the game that I made in about a minute before quickly releasing version 1.

Yeah, thanks for that!

though two jump buttons have been included so there could be a slight confusion when learning the controls.

Yup, we knew that!
Each of the twenty stages can be completed without collecting all bonus items.

That's mentioned in 0.2, but it's probably worth pointing out to those who'd played other JNKPlat's, soo.... Well mentioned!

Retro Remakes made me a news item, which is odd, since while technically it is a retro styled game, and it is a remake.. It's not Really a remake of a classic retro game!
Still, at least they made a big deal over the puzzle/platform thing. That's good!

And, I haven't a clue what all that says, but they did pick better levels

For you today once again mum < beguile > < have > zr(281)czno(347)ciówk(281), else hardest. I must concede, that it has occupied a bit me, in order to come for farthest periods. It requires game strong will, really, it is necessary to do the best (to try) , that (in order to) for high levels passage < proceed >. Begin authorship programer 07 JNKPlat Jayenkai, it are allowed to include to very athletic person. Salta, High jumps, proceeding for lines (ropes), prolonging of heavy object has possessed. There is very primitive diagram (graphic artist; graphics) as on these times, but climatic and with music zgrywa. During proceeding period, it is necessary to think all the time and be fast. Anyway,, you will see ! You will not to have that it for steering problems, everything it is described in first period exactly. I motivate pulling off, particularly, that it has been issued days ago 2 07 JNKPlat and it will occupy on disk 2 .MB

I like that part in the blog where it says:

"its a puzzler by Jayenkai disguised as a platformer"

I don't know if this was meant as a critical comment
or a good comment concerning the game and its gameplay.

But yeaH!, it is. Okay,
Try out this platformer and solve the puzzles.
Or....solve the puzzles in this platform game.
An action packed platform puzzler game.

News was posted on RR as although our remit is mostly remakes, we also love games in the retro spirit that thrive on playability rather than trying to be triple A graphical works of art.

That's why the "retro style" forum was set up.

It deserved a news item and it's coming along really nicely. Keep up the good work.
