Expensive Day

December 2018
Oven dying..
It's a fan oven.
We generally need to cook things at about 20 degrees above the higher (none-fan) temperature to cook properly.
The hobs can be quirky too.

Need a new oven. We'll leave it until after Xmas, since things are kinda hectic, right now.

Early 2019
Pick out an oven, add to "basket", but.. hang on...
..
They've took my PIP off me again..
Oh, ffs.

2020.. a fucking year later.
Finally get my PIP back, so can finally click the order button.
Oven arrived, alongside the Fridge Freezer we added a few months ago.

Huzzah!!

The fridge is huge.
The back door is not.

We need a new back door, now.
Kinda works.. but is in a "don't open that, in case it falls off the hinges .. again..." state.
We've "big bolts" perma-locked it until we can get a new one.

*sigh*
Getting my PIP back is costing me a pissing fortune.

My combi micro oven has been doing its work for 20 years now! I made a pizza in it just yesterday.

I did have to buy a new bicycle recently. I now have this black granny one. It was 30% off!

This year I think I only need(want!) to buy a ryzen 8 core laptop preferably with a rtx for minecraft.

This year is all about paying off my credit card debt from moving house last September. So far, might have smashed it out by November if I hard core it down.

New cookers are always nice, but Damn! if you can't cook the way you used to. The controls are always different. The timings are always different and you always miss features from the old ones, even though the new one has more. Just like any other form of tech, really.

Hey, you know those new pans you bought about 8 years ago, and thought they were induction, but never bothered to check...

Gotta get new pans, now!

Oh geez not induction cookers. They really are utter shite in my experience. Even with the right pan they've proven to be unreliable to detect the pan.

We have a few of those Copperstone pans, and those work great.
One of our pots works, too. It's a really old milk-pan that Mum bought from TKMaxx.
Just waiting on yet another Amazon delivery, for more larger pots, and we should be good to go.
