Jayenkai	Udio AI Music Udio announced their pricing, today, and it seems cheap enough. A request always generates two 30 second clips, be it clean or an extension. So each request uses 2 credits. For free you get 10 credits, so that's 5 requests. If you want to play, extending a track, you're only getting 5 goes a day. For $10 a month, you get 1200 credits, which is 600 requests a month. For $30 a month, you get 4800 credits, 2400 requests a month. You can additionally buy extra top up credits should you need them. Quality wise, it's fairly decent, but I've not generated "too" much with it, and am already recognising Melodies in one song being familiar to those of another. So... maybe a little limited? Jayenkai	Udio's added "Remix", which lets you upload your music, then remix it with varying strengths. Gotta sign up to try it, though, so I did the $10/month thing, and .. Will be cancelling it almost immediately. It doesn't seem to be very good at adding lyrics into the mix, so I won't be able to use it for daily Blog->Music tracks like I do with Suno right now. It also .. Gawd, it sounds awful... Anyhoo, uploaded this.. : Download I copy+pasted today's blog post into the engine as lyrics, and it came out with this.. : Download As well as other similarly horrific tracks. But it also created this. : Download Which kinda works, and is really quite quite Pulp'ish, if I'm honest.. (Reminds me of His'n'Hers era) But the lyrics all get shoved at the end, and it's all a bit of a mess. It's lovely though.. But lyrics are a failure for the engine, I reckon. Maybe there's a way to get it to do it properly. Not sure. Jayenkai	After a little tweaking I found that if you upload songs with lyrics, it does a much better job of adding lyrics back in, even when it's 100% reconstructing the song. Here's a 100% reconstructed version of the above, but this time I'd uploaded the version of the ALChoon that had lyrics.
