A Return to the Fiery Forth

Although this game has come a long way since the game that inspired the little bit in my head which takes ideas and goes crazy, I still consider it to be initially inspired by Eikon's Fiery Fourth from Wednesday Workshop #003

Today, the game's more about hopping and bopping on the bad guys, than it is about shooting off fireworks. In fact, the fireworks are completely missing, now, and it's just you vs a bunch of squishable enemies.

But the premise is still more or less the same.
Run around like crazy, and boop them on their heads!

Cute!!!

(Linux users - if its laggy for you hit F11 to make it fullscreen. That made it run super well for me!)

Lol, seeing the second screenshot, a strange game idea came up:

Bouncing Hot-Dogs .... a mix of pang, breakout and asteroids. Where you need to run to the Bouncing HD's, and touching them they split into parts, bouncing away.

I had a go, nice little thing, only one thing here, and it might just of been me, as I was knackered from work (Humping 48kg CO2 bottles about in the paint shop, which can only be described as a cracking Doom level, with ovens blaring), but I did notice that when jumping, there was a slight little lag and I sometimes kept on running into holes. Again, it might of been me mind.

There shouldn't be any lag, but, I do wonder what your framerate's like. Hit F1 to find out!

The Game runs fine on win10, the fps counter shows 59/60 fps. Although there is a bug/annoyance with the settings menue.
Yes i managed to 'discover' that you need to hold the mouse down and to move the mouse up/down to reach other settings, but it does not work every time.
As it looks atm, it stops at the last clicked menu point.
I would expect a freely moveable menue, from top to the bottom.

Yeah, I never did bother to finish off mouse/touch for the menu, did I..?
Works fine with cursors!! Use cursors!!!

I see, its working quite well - if you click on the buttons and then move. Anyway thanks.
