I put Norton highly above McAffee, but when it comes to a virus scanner I want it to be fast (unlike Norton), and so not mind when it runs an automated virus scan (unlike Norton), not break my PC when I uninstall it (unlike Norton), and actually remove ALL viruses it finds (unlike Norton).

On the BBC's computer show Click a McAffee representative said something along the lines of "free online virus scanners are often actually full of viruses and spywear and so shouldn't be trusted or used". So they don't just do it virtually.

It's on BBC News 24 usually at night and Sunday mornings. You can catch it however online here (UK only I believe due to license restrictions).

It's been going for ages and used to be called 'Click Online' and was presented by this old guy. There is sometimes this hardware guy too on the show who looks like someone I used to know who has some mental problems, and he used to always be on every episode. Hopefully they will get rid of the girl who does the internet at the end too, I usually switch off at that point. It's also not about games, but since it's about computers and technology they do sometimes mention them, but usually more of those 'innovative' game conventions.

Hover the mouse over a user's name to see their current time. (Assuming you've all bothered to set your time settings )

I know, but I said UK only in case other people were interested in watching Click.

But it's a real shame there are so few computer shows. Bitz was brilliant. Thumb Bandits wasn't bad, but it didn't have Emily Booth

I'm in the UK aswell (Solihull to be precise). By the way, Norton has never failed to remove a virus from my computer. The CD can even be used as a boot disk.
