Hey could any1 help me, i was found my copy of gta 3 the other day and thought it would be good if i made a cheat device like Edison Carter's for PSP Vice City Stories. My question is does anybody know how to use macros to input text to another program.

Been years since I did something like that!! If your keyboard has Multimedia keys, it might be possible to use it's setup thing to send macros. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

That could work except my keyboard is crap, and i was thinking if i made a program i could make it avaliable to ohters and would be good experience

GTA3 Macro Cheat thingy, 5.6 kb Took me lots of tinkering to make, but it seems to be working Code isn't all that beautiful but it's rather short, so if you want to modify it I don't think it'll be too hard.Edit the cheats.txt file to change hotkeys and cheats. Press escape to end the program (it's invisible). In cheats.txt, There's one line which is the virtual key code for the hotkey, and then the cheat on another line for each cheat, which looks something like this: 113 is the code for F2. Look here for a table (open up the calculator and convert the values from hex->decimal to get the correct number). |

Hey thanks phoenix for that, i have edited the source and got it working good and added all the cheat codes. If any1 wants it download here.
