hi all,

hey, here are some gifts that I received from Christmas:

(1) the original Star Trek DVDs. Both seasons 1 and 2.

(2) some really cool shirts from my sister such as The Black Bear from Glasgow, Scotland and The Red Lizard and from Glasgow, Scotland. And even the Excalibur Pub from Venezia, Italia too.

(3) a really cool shirt from my niece in Australia. It has some ancient aborgine cave art. Really cool

(4) the Hydra. yay!!! I finally have it. Cobra and the Cobra demo will be a good intro into the Spin programming language...since both are based somewhat on some of the Pascal language.

(5) and a $25 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble bookstore.

cheers,
power mousey

I got a prepaid debit card that I specifically requested because I wanted to buy Jay socoder.com! But someone registered it already! I am quite irritated.

stealhspc, you could try socoder.co.uk. Obviously, If you're American, you won't like it but if we can't have .com, then I suppose we either stick with this or go for .org or .co.uk

The only available ones are socoder.co.uk and socoder.net. I suppose socoder.net isn't bad.

but we've got socoder.co.nr !!!

"The only available ones are socoder.co.uk and socoder.net. I suppose socoder.net isn't bad."
"but we've got socoder.co.nr !!!"

To be honest, that's pretty much my thoughts right there. If we already have .co.nr, what's the point in changing to something unless it's going to be .com, which got registered a few months back, shortly after *Jay refrains from posting certain things for fear of causing issues amongst the forum*

|edit| Hmm.. Knowing how some people feel around here, it kinda sounds like I'm accusing DevCrunch of stuff, there. I'm not, BTW! |edit|

We can put up wth .co.nr

...
I don't know if that was an honest sentiment there, Stealth, but if it were then thanks. It's the thought that counts!
...

For Xmas I got..
Nice leather chair for my room
Family Guy season 5
Bluetooth Dongle (for Wii Controller play!)
Lots and lots of chocolates
+ Reeses Pieces (mmm)
And the typical selection of naff jumpers, and cheap deodorants.

I has going to register it for you, I even went to the register site to try and do it. I just can't believe someone registered it! I think its more of a professional thing. People searching on say Google might respect the fact that you have a top level domain. But if your interesting in a .net or something else I would be happy to register that instead.
