I'm against this.. For the most part it's a neat "keep it private" idea, but there are 3 things here. 1. If it's unreadable by passers-by, what's the point? Every topic could potentially bring a new visitor. If the visitors can't see it, the whole point's lost. 2. We already have Private-Messaging-Groupies. They were added so that you can block out passers-by, and only discuss something with the people you would like seeing the topic. That kinda does the same thing, and was the reason I eventually added it. 3. Sites that do that PISS ME OFF... -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

I'm with Jay on this. I don't think the feature brings anything new or solves any existing problems. I've also visited plenty of forums I might have joined, only they were members only so I just passed them by. Like Forrst, although I sent in an application I'm not too fussed I've never got in. |

The reasoning for this was because I wanted to create a topic to generate some ideas for a project I'm working on but I don't want Googlers finding the content (and stealing ideas). I think PMs are sufficient though. You've made good points. -=-=- Quit posting and try Google.
