if I have a list of recent activity, do you really need to know in that list how long ago each item occurred? If the top item is the most recent, second item is second most recent, and so on; isn’t that enough? --- I'm thinking more about a relative style, like "2 hours ago" rather then "Tue 09:42". |

I have no idea! Everything here has the little day/time thing, but I'm not sure if anyone uses it. The only time I bother to check is when I'm doing the newsletter!

I would say it's not important. Think about what the real purpose of this element is for. Do they need times to do what you want them to do?
