i go with the system of using a lot of capitals and symbols with a word or phrase i will remember easily and add some numbers. i will insert the numbers in between the words or maybe put it in file name format with the last word being the extension and underscores help a lot -=-=- i like green haired girls... |

So basically this thread is just to make all our passwords weaker? *Laughs* My strongest password (reserved for two shell servers I have) is basically roughly 2/3 of an MD5 of an amount of standard English text comparable to the works of Shakespeare. I've learned to remember it.

I get it, i think, 'cause when you go up you go down to the bottom of the keyboard, or along the lines of the bottom, good idea, but the only problem is that because you've told everyone they kind of have access to all of you personal stuff, unless, you have messed with each one enough

when I was in a cultural anthropology class we had to encrpt/sign our work and items in our own civilized...or uncivilzed language. I have this one language called Ung Lung. basically, you add a ung to the consonaunts and just say the vowels....execept for the y. so hey, like my name of power mousey would be pung o wung e rung mung o ung sung e yung another word would be like 'c programming' would be: cung pung rung o gung rung a mung mung i nung gung  sometimes, we would spell out our works in the alphabets and get the first letter of a equivalent or close icon of heiroglyphic for that particular letter or number. sometimes also step it up or down with an odd or random number and transpose it to a key table. Weird, odd, and truly esoteric too. Weird California. cheers, power mousey |
