Socoder -> Question of the Day -> Dreams

Oddest dream in a long time, last night.
Dreamt that I had a lovely day out in town, a nice long trek through shops, and a lovely day out.
These are the sorts of dreams I'm having a lot, lately. My mind is missing the outside world. Sadface

The trip home wasn't as pleasant.
After the ludicrously lengthy bus trip, I got into the village at about 18:30. The village was oddly busy, and I got strangely claustrophobic with so many people around. I crossed over the street where it was slightly emptier, but ended up meeting old shop customers, and had to stand there for another half hour of so, explaining all about my tumour and why I hadn't been in the shop for so long.
Ugh...

Finally free, I dragged myself through the now empty streets, dragging my shopping behind me.
I got as far as my own street, then collapsed with exhaustion.

... Dream over.
I woke up at 11:30, this morning, and I'm absolutely sodding knackered!!!
Damn dream's tired me out!

I've been having lots of marching band-related dreams recently. Those should all be over, now, though, because at the moment I'm coming back from state championships. 3rd place of 14 in the state, and the school's best score in recorded history (beating last year's best score in recorded history)

edit: nope, dreamed about marching band again.

I dreamt society had collapsed, there was a tight police state, and "because of shortages" you couldn't buy anything without a special permit. My Mum was very upset that she couldn't do the grocery shopping, even though I kept pointing out to her that she still had enough food in the house to get by for several weeks and the situation would probably change by then.

I dreamt I was being put to death by the State, unjustly I felt, but there was no fighting it, and I was resigned to my fate. Then I discovered they had given me a slow-acting poison that kills off your colon, but its effectiveness varies unpredictably with both body chemistry and what you ingest. Meaning the poison could do you in in days, or you could carry on for years and all you know in the meanwhile is that you're destined to die. I found this far more upsetting than the prospect of being executed had been.

I had a Doctor Who-related dream in which Captain Jack Harkness was tossed into one of those spacetime cracks that makes you never have existed (though memories remained). Then, Harkness somehow came back and threw the guy who threw him into the crack into the crack, which meant that that guy had never existed and therefore Harkness had never been thrown into the crack. Then, when I was leaving the building in which all of this occurred, I saw Harkness going into the building to kill the guy (wibbley wobbley timey wimey stuff) and unlocked the door for him.

Yeah, I really don't know what was going on at all.

Yesterday I dreamt that I finally went back to work, but they'd changed it from a convenience store into a sodding clothes shop!!! Aaarghhh!!!!!!!!
Then, last night, I dreamt that the shop had been completely demolished.
.. To be honest, I much preferred the idea of a completely demolished shop, to that of a clothes shop!

Perhaps there's meanings to those dreams, maybe your boss will start a mobile gaming development business or something.
