I'm crap at marketing. It'd be great if I could magically have my games sell themselves, but in this day and age that just isn't happening.

My last "BIG HIT!" was SpikeDislike, way way back in 2011, and it's really kind of depressing that there's been nothing significant since.
SpikeDislike2 sold about 1/3 of what the original did, although making it a free-day game seems to be fairly popular.
BlastTrax fell on it's arse.
Hoppy Bobby got downloaded about 500 or so times, which is terrible when you consider the fact that it's free!
And Space Popcorn .. well, that's just been a disaster!!

Over on Android, things are infinitely worse, with SpikeDislike2 selling a whopping 71 copies! wowieieie!!

So, I figured I'd start a thread on the subject of marketing, and see what odd random thoughts you guys might have.

Perhaps the secret is to stop doing AGameAWeek.. .. But fuck that!!!!

I don't know if this would help or not, worth a look I suppose.
