If you feel comfortable answering JNK, just how many downloads do your more popular games get off Cortex anymore? It seems to me that the userbase has fallen off dramatically, but I have no basis to say that...just a gut feeling.

OUYA Download Stats
Note these are stats since my first day on OUYA (15th Oct 2013!)
Click the four available links at the bottom for the different graphs, of varying readability!

For the most part, I'm seeing "First Day" downloads at about 1/2 the amount they used to be. (40 -> 20)
Make of that what you will.

Considering the "OUYA" is now 3 years old, having 20 downloads on day one probably isn't all that bad, if I'm honest.

That's an average download rate of 1.1 per day... or am I going mad and not reading it right?

Keep in mind that a lot (A LOT!!) of users see "AGameAWeek" and automatically think "I'm not playing THAT.. Made in a week? Fuck that shit!!"

I found a HUGE amount of negativity when I first started visiting the OUYAForum. But once people started to trust that I didn't *just* make shitty games, they came around to the wonderful world of AGameAWeek.

But the forum is only a small nummber of users, and getting "everyone" to understand AGameAWeek is a much harder task.

.. Having said that, I don't mind being the underdog. I'm quite happy in my little box, with my warm cumfy blanket, making my silly little weekly games.

KillSwitch recently posted a fairly popular shoot-em-up, so I've asked on the OUYAForum's chatbox if he'd be willing to post any stats.. I'll post an update if he does.
