I've had two of those since they declared me a Diabetic. Both turned up just fine. The blurry blind spot in my eye is from the brain crap, not diabetes.

I've been having those tests since 2014, then none in 2020/2021 due to government covid rules. They've always been clear and I was told today they couldn't see anything obvious on screen and I get the usual letter 2 weeks later after they check the images thoroughly. As for the chart they tell me to read I cannot read the bottom two lines with my right eye and can read all lines with the left.

For someone my age with diabetes and not being in the best of health in general, they reckon my minces are in pretty good condition.

Aye, have had to use glasses since the age of 4. That my eyes still work pretty well is a blessing!

Ctrl ++ is your quick friend for zooming in with the keyboard though

The dialation drops have worn off now, surprising what a few hours kip can do.

My mum had a cataract removed recently, waiting for an appointment to do the other one.

My insurance will not pay for the surgery and due to having astigmatisms in each eye, the surgery costs twice as much as it does for those without astigmatisms. Would be $10,000-$12,000 for both eyes.
