Oh my god, how hard/expensive is it to record internal audio on a Mac?!

The end result was, an old headphone-to-headphone wire which I used to use to get stuff from my old cassette deck to the PC's Line-In, and a small USB dongle that has an audio in, then trailing the wire from the headphone socket of the MacBook, around to the other side of the MacBook, where the USB input was plugged in.. That's dumb.. The iPad can do this no problem!

Oh yeah, and an extra USB-A to USB-C dongle, because.. of course it needs an extra dongle!

Glad it worked out.

I can relate. I'm always trying to figure out ways to move audio and video around from odd sources to odd computers.

That's why everyone always gives me their rat's nests.

I've got loads of wires. I could open a shop.

Maybe it is the recording and other copyright companies and hackers that are the blame and make it this hard? Disney alone and their Mickey Mouse are responsible for lengthening copyright every time it is about to expire.
