There are hundreds of games realeased every year for these so called dead machines (C64, Speccy and CPC etc. ) and many are better than those released BITD by professional outfits.

eg. Bubble Booble+ and R-Type were released fairly recently for the CPC and shit all over the original versions.

Of course there's still a load of chuff too, but then there was more BITD!

And of course, we can;t forget Andy H's awesome efforts on the VIC-20; all would have been very worthy purchases if they had come out way-back-when.

I never owned an amiga, had a commodore plus 4 but I think that was about it for me and commodore machines, bloody loved it though and glad to see more games being released for it

I had never seen a Commodore Plus 4 let alone owned one, I was originally had an Amstrad CPC and then an Amiga 500 when I was a kid. I had a few A600s over the years when they were going for 10 a penny. I currently have a dud A500 Plus sitting in my cupboard that I bought about 8 years ago for £12 that has a bit of board rot from a dodgy battery, might work on that at some point if I get around to it.

@Jay:
Did you submit your Amiga games to any Amiga sites?

No, but a few picked up on them. It was quite the adventure!

You could probably produce physical copies but I would hate to think of the costs behind that.

Different critter, but with my HYDRA, I had build a custom case for the console, and the little PCB cards you could buy to load games on, I designed little cartridges to put them in. Between the PCB cards, the plastic case for cartridges, I was running about $30 per game, not counting the cost of printing a sticker and this was just for my own use.

I really miss my HYDRA and hated having to leave it behind. Loved developing for it.

It's an Amiga. All it needs is a floppy disk, and a nice little envelope.

I meant as in big box art style.

Bet many companies would be using AI to produce box cover artwork today.
