Bronchitis, Banging Toothache & A Jam Tart Problem

Been really grouchy over the past few months. First my breathing was going tits up and got sent for a chest x-ray which the GP reckons was clear on both that and the stethoscope, well, the hospital must be blind and the GP deaf because I went right downhill. Went to see a chemist by instruction of the triple one service who then requested a different GP which the medical centre initially ignored, my mum said I was wheezing and gurgling all night so she called the medical centre who then admitted they had a request to contact me. I finally got to see a different GP that then said there's no way that x-ray could have been clear with the noise my lungs were making, got put on antibiotics and took another couple of weeks for that to clear up somewhat.

After all that crap my mum suddenly became unwell with her breathing, paramedics arrived with a nebuliser and an abundance of other medical equipmentage, after being told for years it's her athsma that's been causing her problems it turns out she has a problem with her jam tart and will be needing open chest surgery soon.

Then on top of that I've had a raging toothache for a few weeks and couldn't get an appointment at my own dentist, had to resort to an emergency dentist today because the tooth was making one whole side of my gob hurt, giving me headache and earache and fucking up the sight in my right eyeball, it was even painful to wear my glasses as the bridge of my snozzer was hurting too. My jam tart was beating like mad and the side of my face was inflamed to the point that I looked like a teething baby.

Good nooze is the dentist pulled the tooth this afternoon and hopefully I will recover well and the grouchy persona will go fuck itself.

Rant over!

Me and Mum have been similarly down with "something" for the past few weeks. Seems that Covid and Flu are gradually merging into some kind of killer death-ball, and each year seems to drag on longer and longer.
Mum ended up in A&E with her breathing, and this evening we're heading for our Annual Review which has blood results from a couple of weeks ago when we both were feeling somewhat under the weather to start with. Ho-hum.

The hardest part for me, though this, has been the ever-growing feeling of uselessness. There's a very limited amount of things I can safely cook, what with my balancing and such, so without putting it all on Mum, and trying to help out the best I can, we've been practically living off junk food for the past couple of weeks.
The past couple of days have been much healthier, and the pair of us are finally starting to get to the other side of this hellhole, but ... yeah, it's been hard, this year.
It's been really hard.
