Waffle Thread 2025Over on the mostly unused Discord there's a Waffle section and me Spinal and Rychan are occasionally waffling about random stuff. I suggested that it might be a good idea to have a general-purpose waffle thread here on the site, instead of it being off-site, like that is, so .. A month and a half later, here it is! A basic anything-goes, "garbage in, nothing out" thread where if you don't particularly think something fits anywhere else, you can plonk it in here. So, this is that. Had the weirdest dream last night that me and Mum were wandering a local market, and opted to use our re-usable plastic tubs when buying some grapes. The lady on the stall dared to charge us an extra £3.50 because the tubs were plastic, and they need to charge a surplus for people using single-use plastic. We argued that outs were reusable tubs, and were specifically being reused for this purpose, but .. No, she was adamant the £3.50 surcharge would happen unless we used her paper bags. We told her to fuck off, and threw the grapes in her face. Not having that. ... Then I woke up. I'll likely be grumpy, today, because that'll be pissing me off all day. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

This morning whilst discussing her photos, Mum suggested she couldn't find a good Black & White photo in her gallery, as she's trying to find a nice picture to go in the photo frame she bought for the Dining Room. Me : You can turn pictures Black & White, you know... Mum : .. What? I had to show her the slider in iOS Photos. Mum : Oh WOW!!!! Just another weekend flown by again, why is it still so ruddy cold outside! Couldn't drag the kids outside for love or money, now it's back to the computer screen again. Really missing the whole being outdoors stuff of late and it's just too cold by the time I get back home. Awaiting my new passport to turn up so I can at least consider visiting somewhere warm for the first time in well over a decade. It's cool how certain lil tech things can mean so much to people though Jay, v.cool! -=-=- Web / Game Dev, occasionally finishes off coding games also! |
