Pot Noodles!

7th April 2013

We have various Ramen (and yakisoba) products in the 'States, including several with dehydrated bits of veg and even meat sometimes, but I don't believe we have Pot Noodle. Is Pot Noodle even Ramen?

Thanks for the heads-up and code, BTW. I've got a MOGAPro on order now, too.

MOGA Controller

27th March 2013

The original MOGA's slidey-sticks aren't the best, but they're miles better than touch directionals.
It is a bit limited if you're only using the official software, but it works a treat with most emus if you install the free MOGAIME some lovely bloke code*snip*

Win8 Lovin'

23rd March 2013

Win8 runs better (aside from some schizophrenia with the not-called-Metro stuff) with a smaller footprint, by all accounts.
It also excludes developers, spews ads, and forces you to buy yearly updates.
Personally, I won't support that kind of crap unless*snip*

Monkey Says No!

20th March 2013

I can't deal with eleventy billion libraries that all do different bits and pieces of the same things in slightly different ways. I have no critera with which to choose one and therefore can never make a decision.
Hence my use of "kit" languages rather th*snip*

Mog's New Avatar

Only if you limit yourself to pixels that are 1.75x as wide as they are tall and you only get a 4x8 block of them.
(and only one color per horizontal line)

So I found some old blitz code...

19th March 2013

Aye, the GLBasic poly "sprites" are nice for free-scaling and distortion in addition to rotation. Do they do point colors as well, or am I remembering that from Blitz3D?
(Oh, use the 5-point model rather than the 4-point if you're doing much distortion as*snip*

Green River

They used to dye the river green in Milwaukee, as well, but they stopped because it’s so polluted the dye might be the last straw for the fish.

Days When You Just Can't Code

I, too, planned to implement a more Mario Paint looking music builder because
