Socoder -> On Topic -> Mini Mudchat

OK, first off, this is something I made for myself.
I recently got a 19" widescreen monitor, but everything looks shit in widescreen..
All my windows aren't fullscreen, they're all shuffled over to the left, in a nice proper squarish window size, and as a result I've got this great big gap on the right of my window.

I've been tempted to use that area to hold an IM proggy... But.. More IM = Less Coding.. So I've avoided it!

Today I thought.. "What if the mudchat was there?"
And I set about making MiniMud, to fit the gap.

It's working, mostly, although the nice imagescaling thing's not working, for whatever reason...

If you'd like to give it a go, there's a slight rule.. You have to be logged in, first! There's no login boxes in MiniMud.. You log in elsewhere, and then head to the minimud.

Now, once you're there, you can save the url, and head back when you're bored.
If you're using GoogleChrome (recommended), click the page icon (next to the option tool thing, top right), and "Create Application Shortcut"
Then you can load up the minimud nice and quickly.. Set up it's perfect size/shape, close it, and in future have it open up in that perfect little sidebar place.
Nice, neat, quick and easy.

If anyone has any special size/color/whatever requirements, let me know, and I'll see about adding extra features to it as we go.

Neat! I'd love to see a version with a white / really light blue background though - the contrast between a light themed IDE and the dark themed MUD would really give me a headache if I kept glancing between the two.

Not that having the MUD open while coding is the best idea for concentration, but still!

Hm.
Good idea, but I'm probably gonna stick to the MudChat. I don't use Google Chrome, and the description you gave for using this proggy was a bit complex.
Besides, I mostly use Afr0Messenger these days.
