power mousey	I went over to CompUSA today... to buy some presents....and I was thinking of getting Warcraft 3. I'll probably still get it...but over at Walmart and cheaper. But, I wanted to download and play some freeware games or at least some demos. I downloaded this Omega Syndrome. This game is cool. It has the lloks and feel and even atmosphere of both Fallout and Fallout 2. I also downloaded all 3 epsiodes of the Sword of Lands trilogy. You know, I do like some of these new and current games coming out...especially a few of these adventure and rpg ones. I'm still looking forward to both Hellgate London and Fallout 3. Also, Heroes of Might and Magic V looks pretty awesome too. And the expansion pack that goes with it too. but I hate to spend the extra money to add more memory and upgrade to a true 3d graphics card for my computer. cheers, power mousey

HoboBen	Hey, What is Heroes of Might and Magic like? I got one for my PS2 which was an early "Heroes" one, expecting something awesome like my PC's M&M VI "the mandate of heaven", but got a dull board game style rpg... power mousey	hi hoboben, I don't know how this new(still sorts new) Heroes of MM5 is. Alas, I don't have enough memory...um..only 256mb and also integrated video memory. No 3d graphics accerelator card yet. At least, Warcraft 3 will play on my computer and also Dungeon Siege too. I took a look at some of the story and gameplay and story of Heroes MM5...it looks pretty cool. I do have some of thee older ones. From Heroes MM1 all the way up to Heroes of MM4. Heroes MM4 sucked. My favorite ones were Heroes MM2 and MM3....and the expansion pack of the Armageddon Blade. Hey, I even have the old Kings Bounty by New World Computing too....which inspired JVC and company for the Heroes of Might and Magic games. cheers, power mousey

HoboBen	Hey, I've just found that the newer titles are from people who bought the rights to the name, and has nothing to do with 3DO... So maybe I'll look at their earlier stuff. Might and Magic: Dark Messiah or whatever it happens to be called is too high spec for even our new laptop! power mousey	oh man...thats really tough decision for me, hoboben. MM7 or MM8?? I like them all. Also, MM3 is pretty cool too. but first, have you tried or played Might and Magic 6? and with that, if you want to continue the storyline of MM6 then play MM8. If you want more fantasy and less sci-fi elements then I suggest MM7. Dark Messiah is more like Crusaders of Might and Magic. Yet, I have a hunch that this Dark Messiah could be Sheltem or son of Sheltem himself. A descendant of the cyborg guardians of the ancients.

HoboBen	M&M 6 is the only PC version one that I have, and has to be my favourite game ever. Looking at Wikipedia, I thought 7 sounded similar to the parts I liked, but 8 sounded like it could have more. power mousey	all right. I also have Might and Magic 9. Not as good as the others. But hey, its Might and Magic. I wasn't really impressed with the new 3d game engine that it used. if you are going to get both MM7 and MM8, look for the Might and Magic pack. I bought it. It contains the installion and play discs for all the Might and Magics of 6,7,8, and 9. you'll have a blast and especially with MM8. cheers, power mousey

power mousey	and also... Might and Magic 6 is my favorite game too. Followed closely by MM3, and also Wasteland, Fallouts 1 and 2. sometimes I would get so intense with the action and stories...I would turn off the music and put on some music such as Point of Return, Love is My Desting, and December by Expose, and even some music by Metalica. A lot of times the music would syn and be in tune witht he action and the whole story and gameplay. Especailly playing December by Expose in the game Wasteland and my desert rangers encountering the aliens and in their secret militart base. cool!! I gotta read the books based on the games of both Wateland and Fallouts by Michael Stackpoole. cheers, power mousey
