*FFS, Why am I always logged out?! No matter how many times I click "Remember Me", it never bloody well does!!!* eg, Wordpress blog *FFS, Why is it, when I click on one topic, it marks EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE ENTIRE FORUM as "read", even though I've barely started reading this one?* eg, OUYAForum forum *FFS, Why is it, no matter how many times I've read that topic, it still won't mark it as read!??!* eg, Monkey-X forum *FFS, Why don't these sites have Sidebars so that I can quickly see everything that's new, at a glance, instead of having to trawl through the hundreds of little subsections to find new posts!?* eg, Most "modern" forums.. Totes agree. As a developer and internet being Wordpress is fucking awful, coded my own CMS instead, works pretty well for my customers and doesn't run into the risk of being hacked by bots quite as easily, yay closed source! You can have it all though, with some graceful degradation / fallbacks. But yeah, fuck wordpress
