Mum's now picked out the colour for the new kitchen units.... ... !!!!
She's sticking with the white cabinet colour, but is going for the typical "pine but slightly darker" colour for the worktops.
The upper cabinets will likely stay as they are, but I think we're going to be replacing most if not all of the floor cabinets because.. ... They're really not nice inside. They've probably been here since the previous home owners moved in. They look about as old as our old cabinets did in the old house, and they were put in in 1987!

We still need to get used to the new Air Fryer Oven first, for a bit, though, as we aren't sure if we're going to build around the current gas oven, or get rid of the concept of a traditional oven, and go with the Air Fryer Oven as our main oven.
If we do remove the oven, we'll get a much longer complete worktop, instead of having to split the worktop to wrap around the oven.
We'd also need to get one of those integrated hob things, though.

Modern versions of those don't have dials on them, though, so we'd have to find something that Mum can cope with.

Gawd, this is going to cost a bloody fortune.
