Quick Catch Up

Generally do not post here much and only check the forums maybe once a week or every other week.

So a quick catch up. I almost died around three weeks ago. It was very close and I just made it to the ER in time.

I do not like seafood and do not eat seafood, so had no idea I was allergic to shrimp now. I did not knowingly eat any shrimp, but ordered from a new Mexican place we had eaten at a lot, and I ordered chicken fajitas, which had evidently been cooked on part of the grill that jad just cooked shrimp fajitas.

Thought at first it was just IBS acting up, as that was what was going on, although IBS had not been that bad in years. Later that night, my tongue swelled up so bad it was hanging out of my mouth and would not fit in my mouth and my lips were swollen and I broke out in hives from head to toe that itched and were bleeding and I started having trouble breathing. I do have an epi pen since I am allergic to bee stings.

I used the epi pen and drove to the ER which was not easy in the snow (we are on a huge hill) and had it been two days earlier, I likely could not have made it out, even in my 4WD truck.

Got to the ER the lady took one look at me and said Oh My God! Not very reassuring to hear since they see all kinds of mangled people come in, but I did look like something out of a monster movie. They took me back and I spent six hours on IV steroids and antihistamines before the swelling got fairly normal and the hives started disappearing anf then was sent home with a weeks worth of steroids and antihistamines.

Did a number on my body and kinda wiped me out and took about two months before I remotely felt normal (I hear ya snickering that Ole'. Kuron has never been normal).

Finally, after being here for three years started working on getting my studio unpacked. I did pain the room and fix it up when I first got here, but then shoved everything in there so I couldn't even walk in there. Have made a lot of progress and am still painting some furniture, but can now see the guitars, keyboards, desk I use for effects when recording and sometimes mixing and my regular desk in that room.

Pics below. Still much to do, and unpack and organize, but will be functional before too long.

Fully switched to the APPLE world for everything last year, although still have some old Windows laptops. I am working on some game ideas, and plan to give JSE another go. Should have my podcast back up after a 10 year hiatus, very soon.

Will pop back in in a few weeks and make another post about something, but for now I spend most of my time on BlueSky. ALso have set up kuron.net to be my Linked in clone and setting it up to direct to everything in the KURONverse.

Hope everything is as well as can be for everybody. Peace to all!!

@JAY. I think I broke Socoder the HID button doesn't seem to work on the new pictures I uploaded. ROckford isn't here anymore, so somebody has to come in and break shit now and then *big grin*
