Hi, I need a good, free HTML editor. The one i am using now, NVU is terrible, it works fine, but it messes your code up so its unreadable and unuseable. Anyone know of a good one?

I'm using Microsoft Expression, but it's not available for free any more. MS also offers another IDE; msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/. I don't know if it's good though, since I haven't used it.

Note To Jayenkai: Can you add a <meta> redirect instead of the "click here to return to the topic" message?

Note From Jayenkai: People keep on moaning about that. I suppose I should, although.. I dunno..
..
It's only a mouse click!!

You could try google. They kind of have an online WYSISWYG editor.

I just use notepad 2... I like notepad but this just color codes everything and makes detecting minor (single annoying character) bugs in PHP a snap... I've tried a few others but this is definitly the most light weight... linky:

as for CSS I prefer to use TopStyle Lite just because then I don't have to remember any of that weird css style sheet stuff... linky:

TopStyle lite is free, if I remember correctly. I used to create my CSS in TopStyle lite, but now I do everything in Notepad2!
