cute, yes.
But this has to be genetically altered.

Or...concerning the cutsey creature. I don't know but it looks totally out of place. Like Bugs Bunny from the cartoon world trying to enter our dimensional world and hey! and ya know something definitely went wrong!
When he entered thru the portal to our world...interdimensional phasing screw up.

Nope. Creatures who live in the desert have big ears to stay cool. Since most of the heat goes out of the head, having big ears releases a lot of it.

Plus it can help the creature hear predators better.

I don't know, I think it could still be a natural genetic mutation. They can happen too, without any human intervention (intentional or otherwise). Guess we'll have to see if this mouse's big ears makes it better suited for its environment or not.

will get back on track in a sec...

but toaster, either my eyes and my mind is
going or already gone...I swear that one character
to the left in your avatar picture looks like:

like Wiley E. Coyote or that 1940ish wolf character
from those Woody Woodpecker cartoons.

anyway....
wherever this thing...cute thing came from
it seems like an abnomoly.
Out of place, out of time and out of phase.
It just aint right!
