Socoder -> Off Topic -> Photoshop face swap... Aarrrarrrrggghhhh

I'm trying to be creative and improve my Photoshop-skills by coming up with a new header for my blog.

Somehow I can't help but feel that the above face-swap is under par, but I can't for the life of me figure out what takes away the illusion. Is it the lighting?
Maybe I need to take another picture. I'm really scratching my head... sigh

It just doesn't look right... arrghh!

Face-swapping can lead to some pretty interesting results.
Last night I tried putting Hayley Williams's (from Paramore) face on a model, and in the process I ended up creating a new face altogether!

The knack to a convincing face-swap is making the colours match, if you can get your new face to match the tone of the old body it will look ok

That second one looks good it just needs some shadowing and blending of the flesh tones.
