When Bill Gates left, the company nosedived into shitzville.
Now it's Ballmer's turn..
Apparently the guy who's taking over from Ballmer is the guy who came up with that god-awful Ribbon interface.

....fuck...

From the Beeb's article:

> But he added that Ballmer should get big credit for successful products such as the Xbox and Bing.

> successful products such as the Xbox and Bing.

> Bing.

XBox wasn't successful either (it lost billions), but it lead the way to the 360, which was/is.

X360 was successful until that @#$%stain who left for Zynga after the initial XBone debacle took over the department.
In his short tenure he made me go from loving my X360 to hating everything to do with XBox.

Also, Ballmer's a coprophagic spastic who thinks he's a flippin' genius. His influence was mitigated by Bill, but when Bill let go of the bicycle seat he caromed spectacularly off of everything he laid eyes on. Good riddance.

There's talk from important others at M$ that they should concentrate on Windows only and ignore XBox etc. Will XBone be the last we see of the XBox brand...?

Perhaps.
It's the MS way to suddenly drop a brand and redo from start. Hell, just look how many different search engines they've had over the years.

The thing is, though, unlike Sega or Nintendo, Microsoft aren't exactly known for their great games, so if they ever did drop XBox they'd be left with.. um.. ... ..
..

hmmm...

Pre-XBox, Microsoft Games were Flight Sim, Midtown Madness, Motocross Madness.
Three pretty fucking cool games/sims. None of which have shown up since XBox has. I'm not entirely sure why that is!
