Decent Video Editor Anyone? Camtasia 7 seems to be getting way too buggy and generally bad for me at the moment.

If it runs inside windows then I might give it a whirl, but it does sounds like Linux which I'm not overly familiar with. I dabbled with Slax a fair bit as a USB OS on an old semi-dead laptop.

I used the free trial of Camtasia Studio 8 to record our group project for my course and it did the job. So maybe try the new version?

EditStudio's ok, but I think it's very much a "comfort" thing... It hasn't changed much in the decade or so since I first got it free on a PC Plus coverdisk!!
It also crashes randomly, and there's no autosave (afaik) So you need to keep Ctrl-S'ing all the time!!
It's "functional", and I carry on using it because I'm comfortable with how it works.
It would be nice to have more power, but finding something that I can snuggle up with has been tricky.

ScreenFlow on Mac is a fantastic product. If that were on Windows, I'd use that!
